TRAVEL JOURNAL! ^^

During the December holidays, my parents, Jing Wen, Hui Shan, Auntie Yvonne, Auntie Georgin, Uncle William and I, a total of eight people, went to HONG KONG! We stayed in Hong Kong for 6 days. Though it is my fifth time going there, but it was totally different this time. Cause.... ITS THE FIRST TIME THAT I WENT WITH MY RELATIVES!!! :D

Day 1: Took the 7.45am flight, SQ860 to Hong Kong, arrived there at 12.45pm. The weather was.... COOLING! It was aroung 19 degrees then. Of course, much better than Singapore! We took an MTR (which is our MRT) and then a bus to our hotel, BP International. Anyway, the last time when I went Hong Kong, we stayed at Prudential Hotel, which is MUCH better than this hotel! WHO BOOKED THIS HOTEL?! Uncle William. Arugh!

Day 2: Three words to describe today. FUN. EXCITING. AWESOME. (I feel like screaming when I typed this sentence.) Guess where we went?! DISNEYLAND! This is the second time going in there so, I became the tour guide there! Being there for Christmas was so wonderful where you get to see the beautiful and fascinating lights, decorations and the cartoon characters! I even took a picture with Minnie, Mickey and Chip and Dale! (Look at my Facebook pictures for all of them!) Not much fun rides there. Oh! There's this roller coaster called Space Traders, which is really fun! Actually, I was the one who asked everyone to take this ride as I've taken it the previous time I came which was... 2 or 3 years ago. After coming out of the ride, one of my cousins cried complaing it was too giddy and too dark, too scary and the others was like. Cursing me. WHAT DID I DO?! CAN'T THEY FEEL THE FUN OF IT?! Sickening people. ._. Still, my parents and I were the only ones who can take all the rides. The lighting of the Christmas tree was at 6pm while the the fireworks started at 8pm and it lasted for 10 minutes. IT WAS SUCH A SPECTACULAR SIGHT! After the fireworks ended, almost everyone go out of Disneyland. WE TOO! We took an MTR back to Austin station and had a dinner around Temple Street, and shopped! I bought a bag which was HK$150 (S'PORE$25), but my dad bargained till HK$100 (S'PORE$16)!

Day 3: Quite a boring day cause we went Macau. Auntie Yvonne bought too many stuff that she had to bring a luggage with her when we went Macau. We took a one hour ride from Hong Kong to Macau by a ferry. In Macau, there was nothing much to see except for the St. Paul's Catheral. We spent half a day in Macau and took a ferry back to Hong Kong. We went to Ladies Street and I bought 2 pairs of Converse sneakers and the total cost was less than $40!

Day 4: THE MOST ENJOYABLE DAY DURING MY STAY IN HONG KONG! We went to Ocean Park and I became the tour guide there! Like what I did in Disneyland! There were so many rides there and the best was... We did not have to queue for any rides! Not cause we're some VIP but... Actually I also don't know why. My mum said it was not Hong Kong's school holiday yet, that's the reason. We just ran in, sit down and enjoy the ride, ran out, and went in again. We could sit one ride for many times. It was much better than Disneyland! Although we were tired from all the walking, we really enjoyed our trip there. The same thing, almost everyone of them were scared to sit the rides. I think they only sat a few rides when I sat almost all the rides with my parents while the others just sit there and talk and eat. (Later become fat!) Auntie Georgin was even scared to sit cable car then ask me not to walk there walk here if not the cable car shake then she scared. RUBBISH. Everyone didn't liasten to her and started to walk from left to right to take photos. Around 6pm, we left and went for dinner and at that time, Jing Wen and I were drenched as we played the Raging River repeatedly (Should be more than ten times.) but soon, the crowd came and we left. SAD. We went to Ladies Street and Temple Street again and I bought another bag (which is my school bag now) and two pairs of shoelaces, one pink and the other.... How should I say? Lace?

Day 5: Went to Ngong Ping 360 and took the Crystal Cabin cable-car for 30 minutes. The Crystal Cabin allows you to see the mountains, enormous graves (should be a VERY long time ago....) and the trees. At this time, Auntie Georgin ask us not to stand and shake again then she kept playing with her iPhone. When we arrived, everyone was amazed at how long was the staircase to climb up to the BIG BUDDHA! Everyone was panting while we climbed up. DADDY WAS THE FIRST! I WAS THE SECOND! JING WEN WAS THE THIRD! MUMMY WAS THE FOURTH! HUI SHAN WAS THE FIFTH! UNCLE WILLIAM WAS THE SIXTH! AUNTIE GEORGIN WAS THE LAST. Auntie Yvonne didn't climb but gave us moral support. HAHAHAHA. At the top, I took my camera and snap here snap there (snap everywhere). Although climbing up was tough, but descending was easy! I also went to the ESPRIT factory outlet and bought four tees from there as their really cheap!

Day 6: HOME SWEET HOME TODAY but, everyone was happy when we were informed about the one hour delay in our flight! Instead of departing at 3.30pm, we departed at 4.30pm, taking the AIRBUS 380, A DOUBLE DECK PLANE! The upper deck was much cooler than the main deck, luckily I wasn't sitting there if not, I might freeze to death!
