My Choice For The 2011 Presidential Election

If I had a chance to vote in the upcoming presidential election on 27 August 2011, I would vote for Dr Tony Tan as he is a highly knowledgable and respectable man, and he has many experiences in working for the government.

Dr Tony Tan has many working experiences in working for the government and banks. He was the former deputy prime minister, the chairman of the People's Action Party and also the former chairman and chief executive of OCBC bank. He was invited to join the People's Action Party and had a position of a chairman in there. This proves that even the government knows that he is capable of managing the People's Action Party and Singapore.

In my opinion, among all the four eligible contenders which are Dr Tan Cheng Bok, Dr Tony Tan , Mr Tan Kin Lian and Mr Tan Jee Say, Dr Tony Tan is still the most favourite contender as there are many people in the public who supports him.

In terms of experiences and qualifications, the four of the contenders received a cerfiticate of eligibility. However, Mr Andrew Kuan and Mr Ooi Boon Ewe did not receive their cerfiticates as they did not meet the constitutional requirements of their equivalent in experience and qualifications.
