There are many people are choosing the textbooks which is needed for their children. The people there are mostly middle-age woman who look like housewives in their 30s and 40s. They probably need some financial assistance from the government or the school.

All the books are all over the table and they did not take the initiative to place the books back to its original places. As all the books are scattered all over the table, there may be much difficulties for the other people to find the books that they need. They can actually solve this problem by hiring volunteers or helpers to help to place the books back neatly after a certain time, or even kindly ask the parents to place the books back neatly to its original places.

There is an Indian lady at the foreground of the picture. She is wearing a long sleeve shirt with her daughter and they seem to have difficulties finding the books that her daughter needs. I think she was also grateful to the generous people who donated their books to the second hand textbook for the sales.

It is very expensive to buy books for their children every year although as they have some financial difficulties that they cannot cope with. I think the parents there have already prepared a book list of what their children need and they can just search the books immediately once they are at the sales. The fortunate people living in Singapore should help the less fortunate more often and try their best to do what they can do as these small donations can actually make the less fortunate very happy and we can actually help them a lot by saving money to buy their daily necessaties, instead of buying books.
